Naja, laut SINN hält deren sehr harte schwarze PVD-Beschichtung (2.000 Vickers) wesentlich besser, wenn sie auf einem ähnlich harten Material aufgetragen wird. Tegimentierter Stahl besitzt 1.400-1.500 Vickers, normaler Edelstahl nur 220-260 Vickers. Wenn der Untergrund weich ist kommt es zum sogenannten "Eierschaleneffekt", d. h. die Beschichtung bricht ein und es kommt zum Abplatzen der schwarzen Beschichtung.Für eine Schwarzfärbung / -beschichtung ist die sog. Tegimentierung nicht nötig
